Am I allowed to sleep in the library?

Ask Us Now - Campus B

Last Update a month ago

For the safety and comfort of all patrons, excessive sleeping for an extended period of time (over 30 minutes) is not permitted in the library.
Library staff will not disturb patrons taking short naps or relaxing on beanbags, as long as these behaviors do not disrupt others or interfere with library operations.
When napping, please ensure your posture is appropriate in a public space:
  • Do not cover your face
  • Do not place your legs on chairs or stools
  • Always maintain a respectful appearance within shared study areas
