What is a Research Consultation?

A research consultation is a service provided by the library in which a librarian works with patrons in a one-on-one or small group format to assist in:

• Searching the library's online databases
• Evaluating and referencing the information sources

This is especially useful when the research topic is complex or the user has limited experience in using library resources.
